Macau’s gaming regulator, the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ), reported industry-wide gross gaming revenue of MOP$22.61 billion (US$2.80 billion) in March, representing a 15.0% increase compared to the same month last year.

The figure was also 9.8% higher than February, when GGR reached MOP$20.6 billion (US$2.56 billion), but very slightly lower than the MOP$22.63 billion (US$2.80 billion) in GGR recorded in January.

As reported by Inside Asian Gaming, analysts had expected to see enduring GGR strength in March, aided by easy comparisons to last year and a strong tail off the back of Chinese New Year holiday period.

For the first three months of 2026 combined, GGR reached MOP$65.9 billion (US$8.16 billion) – up 14.3% year-on-year.
