Macau’s gaming operators recorded gross gaming revenue of MOP$24.09 billion (US$3.01 billion) in October, up 15.9% year-on-year and easily setting another new post-pandemic high, according to information from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau.

The October GGR figure was also 31.7% higher than September and 8.7% higher than the previous post-COVID record month of August, when gaming revenues reached MOP$22.2 billion (US$2.77 billion).

For the first 10 months of 2025 combined, GGR climbed to MOP$205.4 billion (US$25.7 billion) – up 8.0% compared to the same period last year.

The improved October performance came despite a slightly underwhelming Golden Week, which analysts attributed to typhoon disruption, a softer mass market due to the timing of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the loss of high-end players to Singapore during the Formula 1 Grand prix.
