Macau’s casinos generated gross gaming revenue of MOP$21.06 billion (US$2.60 billion) in June, representing a 19.0% improvement over the same month last year and continuing the city’s recent growth spurt.

The June figure was only slightly lower than May, when GGR reached a new post-pandemic high of MOP$21.19 billion (US$2.62 billion), according to information from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ).

For the first six months of 2025 combined, Macau’s GGR is up 4.4% year-on-year to MOP$118.8 billion (US$14.69 billion).

After a slow start to the year, Macau’s gaming revenues have surged in recent months – aided by a surprisingly strong May Day Golden Week holiday and an impressive tailwind in the weeks that followed.
