Macau gaming tax take for first 11 months of 2025 reaches US$10.6 billion

The Macau government collected gaming taxes of MOP$9.27 billion (US$1.16 billion) in November, representing a 15.9% increase compared with the same month last year and taking total gaming tax for the first 11 months of 2025 to MOP$86.7 billion (US$10.8 billion). It was also 31.3% higher than October, partly on seasonality.

The November tax figure correlates to Macau’s gross gaming revenues for the month of October, when GGR came in at MOP$24.09 billion (US$3.01 billion) – up 15.9% year-on-year.

According to information from Macau’s Financial Services Bureau, the MOP$86.7 billion in gaming taxes collected through the first 11 months of 2025 represents a 7.0% improvement over January to November in 2024.
