The latest Shreveport-Bossier casino numbers tell an interesting story, Director of the Center for Business and Economic Research at LSUS Douglas White said.
In October, local casino revenues jumped 29.3% over October 2024.
The numbers were up on the strength of a 58.1% spike in gross earnings by Horseshoe and new money generated by Live! Casino & Hotel Bossier. Live! did not open until February 2025, so their more than $10.5 million October 2025 revenue was new money to the tally.
Number 1, Margaritaville, saw a gross take of $13.6 million, but though their overall revenue was the highest for October 2025, it was 8.1% lower than their gross revenue in October of 2024.
