More than a month after opening night, we have our first look at how Shreveport-Bossier’s newest casino is impacting the local gaming market.
According to the Louisiana Gaming Control Board, Live! Casino took in $7.42 million in 16 days following their launch on February 13.
Live! Casino’s launch did not impact the adjusted gross revenue of two Bossier City casinos, Margaritaville and Boomtown, but it did impact Horseshoe Casino.
Data provided by Louisiana State Police shows Margaritaville’s revenue in February was $14.73 million. That’s up 5% from the month of January, where $14.03 million in revenue was reported.
Boomtown saw a slightly larger percentage growth month over month. The casino reported revenue of $3.57 million for February, which is up 7% from the $3.34 million the casino reported in January.
