The Henderson City Council has given the green light for a new Station Casinos resort in the Inspirada neighborhood.
City council members unanimously approved zoning changes and permits for the proposal during their regular meeting on Tuesday.
Called Inspirada Station, the project would be located at Bicentennial Parkway and Via Inspirada, part of the growing West Henderson neighborhood.
Public records stated it would feature 80,000 square feet of casino space, 600 hotel rooms, four restaurants, an 11-unit food hall, a bowling alley and a movie theater.
Representatives for a Station Casinos subsidiary noted the gaming operator has had a presence in Henderson since the opening of Sunset Station in 1997, and the new project would continue a strong relationship with the city.
