David Copperfield is ending his show at his eponymous theater at MGM Grand on April 30. The legendary magician says he plans “something spectacular” after he closes.

MGM Grand and Copperfield announced Thursday the headlining illusionist is closing his 25-year run with the company. The former Hollywood Theater was named David Copperfield Theater in 2013.

“My journey began as a kid in New Jersey with a dream of making magic in my life,” Copperfield said on social media. “I saw magic then — and I see magic now — as more than just my work. Magic teaches us that often things that others dismiss as impossible are not only possible, but within our grasp.”
