Hotel and resort operators across the Las Vegas Valley are stepping up to assist evacuees and those displaced by the fires in Southern California.
Major casino hotels, such as Resorts World, Fontainebleau, Treasure Island, South Point and Virgin are offering discounted room rates for Californians fleeing the raging fires. Other operators, such as Wynn Resorts, are making financial contributions to the ongoing efforts on the West Coast.
Resorts World Las Vegas has extended its “special LA Support Rate” for those affected by the wildfire to Thursday, Feb. 6.
The property is offering residents of Los Angeles and the surrounding area 35 percent off rooms and suites in its Hilton and Conrad hotel towers, the company announced Thursday.
