Frontier Airlines is adding 15 new flights a week this summer to two different destinations from Las Vegas as the Denver-based commercial air carrier fills in some of the schedule lost when Spirit Airlines quit operating last month.
Frontier plans 11 round trips a week between Las Vegas and Oakland San Francisco Airport beginning Aug. 20 and four a week between Harry Reid International Airport and Boise Airport in Idaho beginning Sept. 10.
The airline plans to introduce the new routes with $49 one-way ticket prices on some flights if purchased by 8:59 p.m. , Tuesday. Blackout dates exist on those flights on Sept. 4 and 7 and tickets must be purchased at least 21 days in advance.
