JetBlue Airways is reducing the number of monthly flights for its Reno-New York route this fall and winter as it tackles with a wide range of industry challenges.
JetBlue service between Reno-Tahoe International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York will see some route suspensions in October, November and December, Reno-Tahoe Airport Authority CEO Daren Griffin confirmed on Thursday.
JetBlue’s one-way Reno-JFK flights in October, for example, will be down to just five compared to 30 in September. JetBlue will also have 12 flights in November and 14 flights in December.
“We are in close conversations with them around their plans here,” Griffin said.
