JACK Cleveland Casino and JACK Thistledown Racino submitted sports gaming license applications to the Ohio Casino Control Commission this week, becoming the first brick-and-mortar facilities in Ohio to apply for Type A and Type B sports gaming proprietor licenses.

Crown Ohio Gaming (DraftKings) also submitted an application to be a mobile management services provider. All three potential operators applied on Wednesday, June 22.

JACK Cleveland Casino (betJACK) also submitted an application for management services provider with JACK Thistledown Racino serving as proprietor partner.

The commission posts an updated list of sports betting license applicants each Friday afternoon. It posted the first list of applicants interested in obtaining a sports betting license on June 17.
