Iowa: Reportedly no evidence of match fixing/suspicious wagering in UI/ISU gambling investigation

There’s zero evidence of suspicious wagering activity or match fixing involving any Iowa or Iowa State sporting event, according to the head of the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission.

Brian Ohorilko told that to the Action Network that in an interview Monday night, after it was revealed that some 41 current student athletes at both schools were being investigated for allegedly betting on sports.

That includes 26 University of Iowa student-athletes in baseball, football, men’s basketball, men’s track and field, and wrestling team and 15 Iowa State athletes from the school’s football, wrestling, and track and field teams.
