The revenue from Iowa’s 19 casinos dropped for a third consecutive fiscal year.
According to revenue reports, Iowa’s casinos took in $1.679 billion in revenue from July 2024 through this past June.
This is still higher than pre-pandemic levels. The report showed a 2.6% drop from last years $1.724 billion.
In Eastern Iowa, Riverside Casino and Diamond Jo in Dubuque both saw declines in gaming revenue. The Isle in Waterloo and Q Casino in Dubuque, which is in the midst of significant renovations, both saw increased revenue.
