Even after opening a 317-room luxury hotel earlier this year, Four Winds Casino in South Bend already had plans to build a new bar in 4,730 square feet of space that was carved out of its gaming floor and popular buffet area.
The gathering spot, simply called the C Bar or casino bar, was the result of customer feedback, says Craig Lewkowitz, senior vice president of food and beverage for Four Winds. “Guests liked the C Bar in New Buffalo and wanted to see the same thing here,” he says.
The existing bar area is near Copper Rock Steakhouse on the other end of the casino and is on the same level as the gaming floor with no clear dividers to separate it from the rest of the complex.
