Focus on providing a world-class experience for visitors helped lead brick-and-mortar casino revenue to surpass internet revenue in June, Casino Control Commission Chairman James T. Plousis said Wednesday.

Casino revenue for the nine casino hotels was $259 million for the month, an increase of 6.1% over the $244.1 million reported for June 2024, according to numbers released by the state Division of Gaming Enforcement. Internet gaming revenue for the casinos and their partners was $230.7 million for June 2025, reflecting growth of 23.5% compared with the $186.8 million reported for June 2024.

“June’s 6% year-over-year increase is an encouraging sign for Atlantic City’s casino operators, especially since there was one less Saturday in the month this year compared to 2024…” said Jane Bokunewicz, director of the Lloyd D. Levenson Institute of Gaming, Hospitality and Tourism at Stockton University.
