A strong September has positioned the temporary Rockford Casino to surpass annual revenue totals for all of 2022 by the end of this month. Here is a closer look at the numbers.
The Rockford Casino at 610 N. Bell School Road collected $5.7 million in gross revenue last month after gamblers were paid their winnings. It was a slight increase in revenue over the $5.6 million the casino did in gross business in August and is the fifth best month of 2023.
The casino is on pace to do better than last year. Revenue totals from a full year of operations in 2022 totaled nearly $54.8 million.
