Gamblers continued to flock to Rockford’s temporary casino on Bell School Road where they spent millions in July.
It was the second best revenue month of 2023 for Rockford Casino: A Hard Rock Opening Act. In fact, it was the second best month of revenue for the casino since it opened November 2021, according to information from the Illinois Gaming Board.
Here is a closer look at the numbers.
Visitors to Rockford’s temporary casino spent nearly $6.1 million last month, about a 5.2% increase over June. And it nearly matched Rockford Casino’s record monthly revenue total after winnings are paid out set in April when gamblers spent $6.3 million.
