A California restaurant described as a “Hollywood icon” and a “celeb hot spot” by the Los Angeles Times is set to open its first location at a Connecticut casino.
That’s the latest with Foxwoods Resort Casino, which unveiled a spate of additions to its gaming, dining and hotel offerings as part of a celebration of its 34th year in operation on Sunday.
Among those changes announced by leadership at the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation-owned, Mashantucket-based casino are the addition of Yamashiro, an iconic Japanese restaurant that opened in Los Angeles in 1914 and expanded to Miami last year. Casino leaders also unveiled newly renovated hotel suites and a hub for “next-generation gaming.”
