The craft beer movement has never been about what is in the glass: it has been everything about community, locality, and the discovery experience. With breweries stretching out of their floors to taprooms, brew pubs, and event halls, they are beginning to appear in very unlikely places. The intermingling of entertainment facilities, including casinos and resort venues, has been on the rise since people are seeking drinks, food, and ambiance in a single venue.
Clearly documented instances of craft breweries setting up taprooms, brewpubs, or joint lines both within or near to casino properties are common. The motivations of such projects are typically similar on both sides: providing visitors with superior options in on-site food and beverages and allowing breweries to be exposed to new customers.
