Hotels.com’s Captain Obvious expands his Spokes-Captain work for Resorts World Las Vegas

Captain Obvious has been telling people about the savings they could get from Hotels.com since 2014. Now, the truth-spewing spokes-captain for the hotel booking site has a new role: a guide to Resorts World Las Vegas, the huge new property on the Las Vegas Strip.

In a nearly two-minute film, Captain Obvious pulls up in a red Rolls Royce and sets the tone for a “ridiculous” tour of the massive $4.3 billion property that opened in June with a star-studded campaign from Hooray Agency featuring celebrities including Celine Dion, Katy Perry, Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood.

While that work featured glitz, glamor and a surreal fantasy scape, the new work aims to show off the property itself, with Captain Obvious serving as a tour guide.
