The Delta Hotels by Marriott – Vancouver Delta is looking to expand.
On the agenda for Delta council’s next meeting on Jan. 19 is an application to permit the existing hotel to create 69 additional rooms. The hotel is connected to the Cascades Casino Delta.
The proposal, which is consistent with the Official Community Plan (OCP), includes an amendment to the site’s Comprehensive Development Zone to increase the number of rooms to 193.
The proposal also includes increasing the maximum gross floor area from 16,000-square-metres to 21,000-square-metres as well as reducing the minimum number of required parking spaces from 800 total spaces to 625 total spaces.
