A sweet song continued playing at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana in July even as the three other casinos in Lake and LaPorte counties saw their year-over-year earnings dip last month.
Data released Monday by the Indiana Gaming Commission (IGC) show Hard Rock in July tallied more “win” — or revenue after paying successful bettors — than any of the 12 other commercial casinos in the Hoosier State for a 33rd consecutive month, or nearly three full years.
Hard Rock tallied $37.6 million in win last month. That was a 1.7% increase compared to its July 2023 win of $36.9 million, according to the IGC.
The Gary gaming, dining and entertainment destination also single-handedly accounted for more than 18% of the state’s $206 million in total casino win for the seventh month of 2024.
