Regency Casino Thessaloniki has unveiled the Piazza Project, a €5m [$5.9m] expansion that blends branded slot machine pavilions with live entertainment, street food, and mixology. Launched with a two-day celebration on September 19-20, the concept is being described as the first of its kind in Europe with the potential to redefine how casinos showcase their slot offerings.
At its heart of the Piazza Project are four dedicated gaming zones; one for each of Aristocrat, IGT, Light & Wonder, and Regency itself, arranged around a central stage, 10-metre bar, and street food stand. The Piazza is designed to appeal both to the casino’s loyal slot players and to a wider audience attracted by concerts, DJs, comedy acts, cocktails, and culinary themes.
