According to official data from the National Institute of Statistics and Census, compiled with information from the Ministry of Economy and the Gaming Control Board, the gambling sector registered a year-on-year growth of 15% compared to the US$2.555 billion obtained in 2024. Gaming revenues reached almost $3 billion in 2025.

Market growth was marked by the expansion of online gaming, which has consolidated its position as the fastest-growing segment. Last year online gaming registered a gross volume of US$587.8 million, representing a year-on-year growth of 82.3%, making it the fastest-growing vertical within the sector.

Despite the strong advance of online gambling, the main driver in absolute terms continues to be “A” type slot machines, which generated US$2.147 billion in gross revenue with a growth of 5.2% compared to 2024.
