Conor Grant, CEO of Flutter Entertainment UK & Ireland, has issued a public apology via the firm’s Twitter channel regarding a recent incident in which Sky Vegas customers were mistakenly sent promotional communications.
Complicating matters is the fact that as a result of the error, which occurred on 2 November, a number of the customers who received the two marketing emails were actively self-excluded from the Sky Vegas platform.
“I would like to sincerely apologise to all those who have been affected by the recent issue at Sky Vegas, whereby a number of people were mistakenly sent promotional communication,” Grant stated.
The CEO further assured customers that the FTSE100-listed gambling group is thoroughly investigating the matter to ensure similar errors do not occur in the future.
