The Cordish Cos. has unveiled plans to build one of its trademark Live! entertainment complexes as part of its 222-acre redevelopment of Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park.
The two-story, 32,800-square-foot facility will include a 12,523-square-foot, two-level sports bar called Sports & Social, and a 4,000-square-foot space for PBR. Standing for Professional Bull Riders, the PBR space includes a 22-square-foot section for a mechanical bull, much like PBR Atlanta at Cordish Cos’ Live! at the Battery Atlanta. Nine bars will also be located within the facility.
The Live! building, plus plans for a one-story, 20,479-square-foot retail building; a 3,781-square-foot event lawn; two outdoors stages; and four retail pavilions; will be presented Nov. 17 to the Pompano Beach Review Committee.
