The Gambling Commission has published its first Gambling Survey for Great Britain (GSGB), which is set to become one of the largest of its kind globally, but it has faced a controversial start.

The survey aims to establish a new benchmark for understanding gambling behaviour in Britain, providing insights into the industry’s dynamics and participant habits.

“Data in this report represents the first year of a new baseline, against which future changes can be compared and as such will prove invaluable in deepening further our understanding of gambling across the country,” said Tim Miller (pictured), executive director of research and policy for the Gambling Commission.
