FanDuel Sportsbook has secured access to an online sports betting license in North Carolina through an agreement with the PGA Tour. Though terms were not disclosed, deals that include market access typically run for at least 10 years.
Unlike N.C. market access deals announced recently by Bet365 with the Hornets and Penn Entertainment with Quail Hollow Club, the agreement does not include a sponsorship component. FanDuel is one of six PGA Tour official betting operator and sponsors Tour players and events.
“We have a great relationship with the Tour and we have every intention of continuing that,” said Christian Genetski, President of FanDuel.
