Evolution Georgia has yet to address the demands of its employees as the ongoing strike at its Tbilisi studio escalates.
Since Tuesday (13 August), three employees have gone on a hunger strike, citing the company’s refusal to negotiate as the primary reason for their drastic action.
The strike, which began in mid-July, has led to significant disruptions in Evolution’s operations.
Earlier this week, Evolution Georgia announced it would cut 1,000 jobs in the country, saying in a statement on Facebook: “This regretful decision was not taken lightly. It is a direct consequence of the union’s unlawful actions and its negative impact on Evolution’s operations in Georgia, and the damage it has caused on Evolution’s customers’ view of Georgia.”
