It seems unbelievable that Europe’s most prestigious poker tour has never stopped in one of the continent’s most storied cities. While the European Poker Tour (EPT) from PokerStars had a regular stop in Deauville on the French coast until 2015, the French capital of Paris has never seen an event on the extensive tour.

That is all changing this week as players from around Europe and the world descend on the City of Love for the first time. EPT Paris gets underway on February 15, and there are events through Feb 26, with the series opening with the France Poker Series (FPS) and rolling into EPT events as the week progresses.
