Boyd Gaming recently finished expanding and refreshing the Fremont Hotel and Casino. The changes to the casino floor at the downtown Las Vegas property started in early 2022.
Guests this year may have already noticed many of the changes. The casino floor update was completed in phases over the past 18 months.
The $50 million budget covered updating and expanding the gaming floor. The Fremont has a new food hall with a patio, a new sportsbook and bar, and more gaming space.
Space for the changes comes from removing the popular buffet and building out an old parking lot. The result is a refresh of a casino that feels fresh but familiar and more comfortable.
