The state of Michigan is funding a $20 million streetscape project adjacent to Hollywood Casino Greektown, which is expected to bring in more visitors.
Penn Entertainment CEO Jay Snowden touched on the positive impact the project can have on Hollywood Casino at Greektown during a Q2 2025 earnings call last week.
One of the most historical neighborhoods in Detroit is undergoing a facelift, which started earlier this year on Monroe Street between Randolph Street and Chrysler Drive. Monroe Street holds several entertainment businesses that are going to be able to enjoy wider sidewalks, pavers, outdoor dining, trees, and public art.
Snowden said during the call that the new project is going to benefit the casino.
