The Ontario Provincial Police Investigation and Enforcement Bureau has laid charges against five people in connection with alleged illegal activity at Toronto’s Woodbine Casino.

The bureau, along with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), was contacted on Oct. 19, 2022, regarding allegations that a table games dealer was colluding with patrons at Woodbine…

Bill Dickson, a media relations spokesperson for the OPP, couldn’t say what the table game was or the amount of money involved in the case but did say, while rare, he has seen these type of allegations in the past.

“I have seen cheat at play before,” said Dickson.
