The Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) has officially announced a six-month extension for select provisional gambling licenses, allowing certain operators to continue their activities until at least 24 December 2025. The decision comes as part of the ongoing implementation of Curaçao’s new gambling regulatory framework.
Under the new structure, provisional licenses issued through the National Ordinance for Games of Chance (LOK) were originally valid for six months, expiring on 24 June 2025. However, the CGA has now confirmed that select B2C ‘Green Seal’ and B2B operators will receive updated licenses valid for another six months. These licenses are expected to be issued no later than 27 June.
