Culinary Workers Local 226 and Liberty Media, owners of the Formula One Las Vegas Grand Prix, reached a card check neutrality agreement that allows workers at the $500 million Formula One pit facility to decide if they want to join the union.
The agreement, announced Tuesday, is similar to deals the union revealed with three other properties.
Las Vegas Grand Prix CEO Renee Wilm said the agreement reflects the “appreciation we hold for these critical members of our organization.”
It’s unclear how many workers the organizing covers. The building is the centerpiece location of the Nov. 16-18 race. Race officials have said the facility will be open year-round.
