Connecticut’s sports-betting handle tops $200 million in November

The state’s sports-betting program topped $200 million in wagers in November, according to data from the state Department of Consumer Protection.

With $205.7 million in bets, including online and retail, November saw the highest amount wagered since the program debuted in 2021.

In October, there were $189.4 million in bets, which is 7.9% less than November’s total.

Of November’s $205.7 million in bets, $192.6 million were placed online and $13.2 million via retailers.

Also in November, patrons won $180.3 million at online venues and $12.5 million at retail locations, including $262,172 at the newly opened facility at the XL Center in Hartford.
