Foxwoods Resort Casino announced starting Saturday [May 22], guests who are fully vaccinated will be able to ditch their masks.
The casino said guests who are not vaccinated are requested to still wear facial coverings.
President and CEO Jason Guyot said employees are also required to wear a mask until they are given further guidance.
“We will closely monitor our approach, but given the high vaccination rates, we feel optimistic about this being a major step to restoring a sense of normalcy ahead of the summer, where so many of us are eager to safely get back to the experiences we enjoy,” said Guyot.
