Foxwoods Resort Casino, unlike most casinos, has windows. And if you are playing in Foxwoods’ latest gaming space and glance out the windows there, there’s a chance you may see other guests flying by you at high speed.
Many of the windows around Foxwoods have a view of the largely forested Mashantucket reservation surrounding the buildings. Gamers looking out the windows of the new Pequot Woodlands Casino, however, can see people zooming by on the The Fox Tower zipline.
Foxwoods already had five separate casinos within its over nine-million square feet of property in Southeastern Connecticut. And on Tuesday, number six will be opening.
In a behind-the-scenes tour ahead of the grand opening, CT Insider got an inside look at all the new features of the $25 million project as finished up construction before opening the 50,000-square foot Pequot Woodlands Casino to the public on Tuesday.
