Land-based casino revenue in Chile fell to CLP509.8 billion ($597.5 million) in 2025, a decrease of 4.5% year-on-year. The full-year data was released by the Superintendency of Gaming Casinos (SCJ) last week, showing casino gross gaming revenue had slipped from the previous financial year.

The 22 casinos licensed under Law No 19,995 in Chile received 926,873 visits, a 7.2% decrease, although average spending per visit edged up 3.3% to CLP86,019.

The three casinos operating under municipal concessions achieved GGR of CLP39.5 billion, a 0.5% rise.

With land-based casino GGR dropping, total tax collection also decreased by 4.7% to CLP214 million. Of this, CLP194.2 million came from the 22 casinos authorized by Law No 19,995.
