Parx Casino Shippensburg will open on Thursday, Jan. 26, pending regulatory approvals, according to the casino’s general manager, Kevin Brady.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for Feb. 3.

The 73,000-square-foot mini-casino at 250 South Conestoga Drive in Shippensburg Township will include approximately 500 slot machines and 48 electronic table positions, along with a 100-seat restaurant and sports bar.

The menu will include fresh, stone-baked pizzas made to order in a fire oven, as well as sandwiches, spaghetti, and fish and chips, among other items.

The casino will also include sports-wagering kiosks.

Parx Casino Shippensburg will employ around 200 people, according to Brady.
