A post circulating on social media suggesting that “Chukchansi Casino is officially online” is in fact a scam, according to the casino itself.

In a post on its own social media, the casino says the advertisements “are not affiliated with us.” The graphic attached to the post is a photograph of the actual Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino; app store icons, the casino’s logo and payment methods overlay the image.

The text above the graphic reads as follows: “Chukchansi Gold Casino announces the launch of its new gaming app for Android and IOS! Join us and get a welcome bonus for new players!”
