Thanks to a law change recently approved at the county level, the region’s casinos will have the opportunity to expand their gambling pool by increasing their capacity, cardrooms, operating hours, betting limits and more.
On Aug. 13, the Tulare County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved to change the county’s gambling ordinance for unincorporated communities. The updated ordinance is expected to go into effect on Aug. 27.
The change in ordinance is in response to Deuce Lounge and Casino’s application to build a new facility in Goshen. For its plans, Deuce Lounge and Casino wants the new building to be larger, to offer gaming and non gaming entertainment and have improved parking, signage, landscaping along with other amenities.
