Country music star Toby Keith will be the inaugural musical act to perform at 50-acre outdoor entertainment complex Coachella Crossroads next month.
Keith will stop at the venue — located adjacent to Spotlight 29 Casino — on May 15 for his nationwide “Country Comes to Town” tour and singer and songwriter Jimmie Allen will open up for Keith, according to a news release from the Twenty-Nine Palms Band of Mission Indians.
Keith’s country music career has spanned decades. He’s released 20 studio albums and notched 20 No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. He’s known for hits such as “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” “As Good As I Once Was” and “Beer For My Horses.”
