When dining at the Rock and Brews restaurant at the Rolling Hills Casino, you will see robots cruising around.
The robots are not intended to replace staff but they are simply there to help out while the restaurant doesn’t have enough people to work. “It is a sophisticated piece of equipment, and it is temperamental,” said the director of food and beverage for the casino, Scott Simon. “It has a personality.”
After experiencing staffing shortages due to various reasons, the casino brought in these robots to help out.
Waitress Nicole Eddy said the robots are always there to lend a helping hand.
