It’s a brand new option for poker players in Kelowna. Chances Casino Kelowna is preparing to open its brand new Poker Room on Friday, Sept. 27.
It’s the first-ever dedicated poker space for the casino on Springfield Road and a release from Chances says it will bring “an exciting new addition” to Kelowna’s gaming landscape.
While the new Poker Room will open to the public on Friday, the casino broke it in with its first annual Charity Poker Tournament on Sunday, Sept. 22. It featured 10 participants competing on behalf of their chosen charity for a share of the prize pool.
In the end, it was West Kelowna Warriors president Chris Laurie who won the event and earned $5,000 for TeamUp Canada.
