BetGames has received a number of licences from the Gambling Commission (GC), allowing it to offer real and virtual events betting.
In addition to this, the fixed-odds betting supplier will be able to offer its portfolio of games to any licensed UK operator.
The first product to hit the UK market from BetGames will be Twain Sport, a Lithuanian hybrid sports project that provides traditional games such as basketball or football. However, the games are played between only two athletes on separate courts with the aim to outscore one another.
As the games are only 60 seconds long and available 24/7, the potential turnover for these games can reach 1,440 matches per day or 43,200 per month.
