Michael Monty has been named general manager of Bally’s Atlantic City, according to the casino hotel.
Monty, a military veteran and Yale University graduate, has been the property’s assistant general manager. He will oversee the day-to-day operations of Bally’s AC and its nearly 1,500 employees.
Bally’s AC was purchased for $25 million by Bally’s Corporation (formally Twin River Worldwide Holdings) in 2020. The 42-year-old Boardwalk casino hotel is currently undergoing more than $100 million in renovations and upgrades…
Former GM Nicholas Polcino will assume a similar role at another Bally’s-owned property in the Northeast. Polcino, an industry veteran whose gaming career started at Bally’s AC, successfully guided the property through the ownership change.
