New Jersey had three of the highest-grossing casinos in the country in 2025, and Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa became the third-best performing casino in the U.S., figures released Thursday by the national gambling industry’s trade association showed.
Carly Johnson, director of research for the American Gaming Association, said Atlantic City’s Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Ocean Casino Resort and Borgata were among the highest-grossing casinos in the nation.
The revelation came during the group’s annual casino revenue presentation, which showed America’s commercial casinos won nearly $79 billion from gamblers in 2025, a record total fueled by surging internet gambling and sports betting…
Nationwide, the association said casinos had $78.72 billion in gross revenue last year, an increase of 9.2% over 2024 levels.
