Czech lottery giant Allwyn…announced the appointment of ex-Betfred US chief executive Kresimir Spajic as CEO of its digital division. The group hailed the appointment, due to begin on 1 September, as an important part in strengthening its digital capabilities.
In this role, Spajic, who will be based in Lucerne, will lead a new division called Allwyn Digital. It will include the company’s iGaming, Sportsbook and digital product capabilities.
The news follows Allwyn acquiring the remaining 15.5% stake in Greek iGaming and sportsbook operator Stoiximan, which came alongside a strategic divestment of its casino operations in Germany and Australia…
The business highlighted Spajic’s 20-years’ experience in the online gaming industry, including a track record of transforming businesses to be digital first and innovative.
